Personal dispatch / not a portfolio

BABINOV

Люди и интерфейсы — объекты одного порядка. Я просто аннотирую их соответственно.

This page works as a personal site, a case-study archive, and an editorial lab at the same time. I build products around language, compatibility, and civic learning, then write about the social mechanics beneath them. The interface stays dark and tactile on purpose: it is meant to be read, handled, and tested, not skimmed like a resume.

Current work spans Flatmate.dk, Samovar, Indfødsretsprøven, and essays about language, migration, trust, and the everyday absurdity of modern systems.

Editorial note

Context

Buryatia, Moscow, Copenhagen

I grew up between the steppe, the big city, and Nordic discipline. That left me with a habit of reading any situation from several angles at once.

Method

Editorial work instead of guesswork

At Flatmate.dk I treat compatibility like editing: rhythm, noise tolerance, domestic rituals, and whether two people can actually share one room.

Focus

Language, interface, everyday life

I work where language meets interface. That is where Samovar, Indfødsretsprøven, and the journal all come from.

Every environment you launch eventually forgets you were ever there.

The archive of temporary configurations.

/// the interface notices you

Why are you still scrolling?

This page is not a portfolio. It is not a resume. It is a mirror held up to a system that does not know it is being observed. Every scroll is a small act of surveillance.

...

Consciousness was a programming error. The error has been noted. The system continues to run. Whether this is comforting or alarming — the interface cannot say. It can only arrange the pixels and hope you read them in the right order.

Writing is better than calling.

I move between editorial work, product thinking, research, and self-started projects. If you need an interface with character or work where language and human behavior must be thought about at the same time — the conversation will be practical.
